Major Endorsement in Assembly District 67District Attorney Mike Hestrin Endorses Kelly Seyarto

MURRIETA, CA – – Kelly Seyarto announced a major endorsement in his campaign for State Assembly today as he announced receiving the endorsement of Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestrin. Before being elected to serve as Riverside County’s District Attorney, Mike Hestrin served for more than 20 years in the Riverside County District Attorney’s office and is one of the most respected District Attorneys in the State of California.

“We need Kelly Seyarto in Sacramento working for Riverside County,” said District Attorney Mike Hestrin. “California law enforcement is facing one of the most dramatic shifts in history and we are seeing major legislation passed through the California legislature at a frantic pace. Kelly Seyarto served for 35 years as a firefighter until his retirement in 2015 as Battalion Chief. In addition to his work as a firefighter, Seyarto served as a Murrieta Councilman beginning in 1997 including serving four times as Mayor.

The 67th Assembly District is entirely nested inside Riverside County and is home to the major cities of Canyon Lake, Menifee, Murrieta and Wildomar. The 67th District was most recently represented by Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez who was recently elected to the 28th Senate District in a special election to replace Senator Jeff Stone.
