Another Major Public Safety Organization Endorses Kelly Seyarto for State Assembly

California Professional Firefighters make their endorsement in the 67th Assembly District

MURRIETA, CA – – Republican Kelly Seyarto announced receiving the endorsement of the California Professional Firefighters in his campaign for the 67th Assembly District today. This is a key endorsement in the election because the California Professional Firefighters represent more than 30,000 front-line firefighters and paramedics and are one of the state’s largest public safety organizations.

Kelly Seyarto served for 35 years as a firefighter until his retirement in 2015 as Battalion Chief. In addition to his work as a firefighter, Seyarto served as a Murrieta Councilman beginning in 1997 including serving four times as Mayor.

“I’m grateful that one of the state’s largest public safety organizations trust my candidacy enough to make a pre-primary election endorsement,” stated Seyarto. “California has many challenges including new fire safety threats. Fire safety is something I have lived almost my entire life and when I am elected I will bring that knowledge to help make effective changes that will make our communities safer.”

Commenting on the endorsement CPF President Brian Rice stated, “With a 35 year career fighting fires firsthand, Kelly Seyarto understands better than most the issues facing our firefighters. Kelly will be an advocate that firefighters can count on in the legislature and we are proud to endorse him for State Assembly.”

The 67th Assembly District is entirely nested inside Riverside County and is home to the major cities of Canyon Lake, Menifee, Murrieta and Widomar.
